South Shore University Hospital- Northwell Health

Northwell Health in conjunction with South Shore University Hospital is seeking a fulltime Board-Certified Chief of Vascular Surgeon to join the faculty. The ideal candidate would possess excellent clinical and technical skills and take a collaborative approach to patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled vascular surgeon, with strong leadership qualities, to bring their vision and energy to the development of a growing vascular practice.

Responsibilities include in- and out-patient care of a wide array of vascular surgery patients and, as such, candidates should have an interest in providing the full spectrum of elective and emergency vascular surgical procedures. Opportunities for expansion of vascular surgical services are exceptional. Excellent surgical skills, clinical judgment and a passion for patient care are a must. As a leader, the Chief must demonstrate the ability to influence and manage with high emotional intelligence and possess strong clinical and interpersonal skills. The Division is actively involved in clinical research with teaching responsibilities surgical residents, and medical students.

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future
