Practice Information

• Seeking one BC/BE Critical Care Intensivist and Pulmonary Physician
• Critical care coverage will be concentrated in the thoracic ICU on the campus of Intermountain Medical Center, the flagship quaternary hospital for Intermountain Health
• Experience required in post cardiac/vascular/thoracic surgery patients, heart transplants, temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support (VA/VV ECMO, LVAD, Impella, IABP)
• Critical Care participates as an equal member of a multi-disciplinary heart and vascular team supporting advanced therapies for complex critically ill cardiovascular patients
• Pulmonary Critical Care medicine training is preferred and there are opportunities for a mixture of inpatient and outpatient pulmonary
• Academic appointment can be considered for qualified candidates (optional, not required)
• Employment position with the Intermountain Medical Group

Requirements

• Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Pulmonology or Critical Care Medicine
• Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license
• U.S. ACGME Fellowship in Pulmonary Diseases or Critical Care Medicine
