Practice Information

• One BC/BE non-invasive cardiologist is being recruited to join our group at Cedar City Heart Clinic in Cedar City.
• Practice currently has one physician and two advanced practice providers.
• Practice at only one hospital, a 48-bed community hospital.
• Physician will be connected with Southwest Cardiology in St. George, Utah which is comprised of a growing team of invasive, noninvasive, EP, Heart Failure, advanced imaging, and structural heart specialists, as well as a robust cardiothoracic surgery program.  Physician will share in a reading rotation with this group.

Requirements

• Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license
• U.S. ACGME Residency

Community Information

Cedar City’s population is approximately 37,000. The area has recently experienced major population growth, and the trend is expected to continue.  The area is known for its breathtaking scenery and is the gateway to the nation’s largest concentration of national parks.  Recreational activities for the entire family include camping, hiking, backpacking, fishing and mountain biking. There is a moderate four-season climate, and during winter months residents can ski in the morning and play golf in nearby communities in the afternoon.  Educational opportunities are available through the local university, Southern Utah University (SUU) and Utah Tech University (UTU) in St. George, Utah.  Summer activities include the Utah Summer Games and the Utah Shakespearean Festival, recipient of the Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre.
