Neurohospitalist

Ascension St. Vincent’s in Jacksonville, Florida is looking to add a neurohospitalist to join us at Clay Hospital. St. Vincent’s has four hospitals in the Jacksonville area, and is part of Ascension, the nation’s largest Catholic and non-profit health care system.

We are looking for a neurohospitalist to join us at Clay Hospital.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in general neurology, although a special interest in movement disorder, neuromuscular, and epilepsy specialties is especially desired for a combined hospital and outpatient practice.  Duties will include both inpatient and outpatient consultative general neurology care.  Candidates must have or be eligible for a Florida state license.

• St. Vincent’s Medical Center Clay County, a 106-bed hospital, opened its doors in 2013 and began an expansion that doubled its size by 2015.
• The expansion added maternity and women’s services, 30 inpatient beds, 13 treatment rooms in the emergency department, and a shell to add 30 additional beds in the future.
