Excellent Gastroenterology Opportunity Danbury, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City)

Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterologist at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut, located about one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County and next to Westchester County in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to join our rapidly growing Digestive Health Institute in a long established and busy practice with 14 physicians and 9 advanced practitioners. Responsibilities include both outpatient practice and inpatient coverage. There is also opportunity for a faculty appointment. Recent graduates as well as 2023 and 2024 candidates welcome to apply. Candidates with Advanced Endoscopy fellowship training are also welcome to apply.

The ideal candidate will be a board certified/eligible gastroenterologist looking to join a highly collegial team.  There is additional opportunity for candidates seeking inpatient only coverage (hospital consults, rounding and procedures) with no call responsibility and opportunity for block scheduling. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as a relocation stipend.

Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year.
