Set to open in early 2024, our new state of the art full-service hospital in Austin will increase access to quality healthcare for children and women across central Texas. Join the Texas Children s team expanding our standard of care for families across the state. This position is a rare opportunity to participate in the start, growth and expansion of a BRAND-NEW medical facility and campus aimed to serve the growing population of Austin Texas. Job Duties
- Staff inpatient, consultations, inpatient cardiology, and cardiac surgical patients.
- Involved in the interpretation of hospital associated imaging studies.
- Engage in the community in Austin for advocacy and education.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Strong work ethic and adherence to the highest moral and ethical standards
- Flexibility and desire for continuous improvement, learning, and dedication to excellent patient care.
- Three years of Fellowship Training in Pediatric Cardiology
- An additional year of advanced imaging training in fetal cardiology, 3D echoes, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, MRI are highly desirable.
- Board Certified, or eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
