Academic Trauma Surgery Faculty - in Texas
StartDate: ASAP
The Department of Surgery at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso is seeking an academic surgeon to enhance an established acute care surgery program encompassing trauma, surgical critical care, emergency general surgery, and burns. The candidate should enjoy teaching surgical critical care fellows, residents, and medical students and pursuing research and other scholarly activities within the Surgery Department. The successful candidate will be an MD or DO, have completed an ACGME-approved residency in general surgery, have completed a surgical critical care fellowship, and be board-certified or board-eligible in general surgery and surgical critical care. This is an excellent position that can grow into a leadership opportunity.
