Director, Substance Abuse/Addiction Medicine in Colorado
StartDate: 08/01/2023Available Shifts: 25% protected time for leadership

The renowned University of Colorado, Division of General Internal Medicine, is seeking a General Internal Medicine Substance Use Disorder Program Director. The successful candidate will expand the substance use disorder treatment capacity and ongoing process improvement/best practices for substance use treatment across the GIM primary care clinics. Candidates should be board-certified in addiction medicine and experienced in substance use disorder treatment in the primary care setting, have a working knowledge of primary care clinic operations, and have the ability to create partnerships across a large academic medical center.

  • Lead a care team of professionals (four therapists, seven APPs, 60 residents, 66 faculty attendings) who provide care to 55,000 patients
