Faculty Preceptor - Pediatrics in Michigan

Authority Health in Detroit is seeking a Pediatric faculty preceptor to care for a diverse and welcoming community. To examine and treat children and adolescents to help prevent diseases and illness complications. Under the direction of the Pediatric Residency Program Director, organize, implement, and supervise all aspects of the resident clinical experience and ensure compliance with all ACGME/RRC clinical site criteria and standards, including the Clinical Learning Environment Review.
We are looking to partner with a provider who brings an entrepreneurial mindset, is comfortable as a solo practitioner, has the confidence and willingness to work with a team, and has a passion for resident education.

- Opportunity to rebuild the pediatric clinical program and assist Authority Health in attaining future goals.
- Conduct supervision, instruction, and training of pediatric residents and medical students in the ambulatory setting.
- Help expand a small resident education program from 2 residents to 6.
- Care for a diverse and welcoming community in the northern suburbs of Detroit.
- Provide health and wellness advice to patients, program participants, or caregivers.
