Sports Medicine Physician - in Missouri

The #1 healthcare employer in Missouri is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible family medicine physician with a sports medicine fellowship to join the medical staff at their outpatient-only clinic in a beautiful suburb of St. Louis.

The clinic anticipates having a staff of 2-3 primary care physicians and 2-3 advanced practice providers with a plan to include rotating sub-specialty support throughout the clinic.

The Practice Opportunity:

• Multi-million dollar renovation in new site location
• 100% outpatient-only practice
• $270,000 starting salary with outstanding benefits
• Attendance at games is preferred
• Build your sports practice as the team physician for Division I athletic programs
• The ideal patient volume will be 18-22+ patients per day
• In-patients will be seen by the excellent hospitalist team
• Family medicine physicians can see pediatrics to geriatrics
• Light call schedule with nurse triage available
• Strong administrative support

Office Hours/Schedule/Clinic Details:

• 8:00 am 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
• FTE is 36 patient-facing hours and 4 administrative hours per week
• The clinic has 6 offices and 14 exam rooms
• IT is in each exam room and additional computers in each office
• EKG s and lab draws are available on site
• Epic EMR
• Sub-specialty care available on site

Candidate Description:

• BC/BE in Family Medicine with Sports Medicine fellowship
• MD/DO
• Ability to obtain an Illinois state license
• Residents or experienced physicians will be considered
