The University of Iowa, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, seeks a comprehensive/cataract faculty ophthalmologist to join a highly-ranked department with a strong reputation for excellence in clinical practice, research, and education. The successful candidate will join a world-leading program and partake in clinical and surgical activities, including researching and treating inherited eye diseases affecting adults and children. Candidates with experience teaching residents and/or medical students, teaching cataract surgery, and doing complex cataract surgery cases, as well as having an interest in clinical research and quality improvement, are encouraged to apply.
