Stamford Health is seeking a full time Nocturnist to be part of their growing team!  Stamford Hospital is a 305-bed teaching community hospital and a Level II Trauma Center.    Nocturnist will provide supervision, consultation, and teaching to residents in the Department of Medicine and Family Practice. Nocturnist will also provide medical consultation as necessary for Surgery and OB/GYN Residents, and will provide emergency inpatient coverage of medical patients on the non-teaching medical service.

Requirements:

  • MD/DO License 
  • BE/BC required; Internal Medicine highly preferred
  • Prior Family Practice & sufficient in-patient experience to effectively carry out essential responsibilities
  • Must possess excellent communication, critical care and computer skills
