Physician-Orthopaedic Surgery - Hand Surgery

The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Banner University Medicine Tucson is seeking an exceptional Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join the hand surgery team! This is an excellent opportunity to join an established practice at our brand-new, state-of-the-art hospital located. The hired physician will receive a faculty appointment with the University of Arizona that is commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery: Hand
• Fellowship Training
• NIH Research funding is a plus

Job Details

• 1.0 FTE | Clinic Days | Surgical Days
• Elective & Trauma Hand Surgical Facilities
• Teach and mentor students/residents/fellows
• Research support for any NIH-funded candidates

Practice Profile

• 13 Ortho Surgeons (including 4 Hand & Upper Extremity), Trauma, Foot & Ankle, Sports Medicine and General Orthopaedics
• 20 orthopaedic residents
• 5 APPs, including one PA dedicated to inpatient care coordination
• Dedicated MA, casting support, and nurse navigator/educator for joint replacement
