About the Practice and their Mission

New York Health (NYHealth) is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our large, well-established multi-specialty physician group practice in Suffolk County, Long Island, NY.

About the Role

Principal responsibilities for this position include testing, diagnosing, treating, and monitoring diseases and issues related to women's health and providing medical counsel and support to women during pregnancy and childbirth. Additional responsibilities include performing breast examinations, prescribing suitable medications, and identifying malignant tumors within the female reproductive system. Performing diagnostic tests on patients, including PAP smears, STD tests, ultrasounds, hormone profile blood tests, colposcopies, and endometrial biopsies. Advise patients on suitable birth control options, and explain test results, diagnoses, and treatment options to patients. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled specialist, passionate about women's healthcare. Residents are encouraged to apply!
