General Surgeon in Colorado

Centura, the largest health system in Colorado, seeks a General Surgeon for an 80-year-old community-based hospital practice at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. Surgery services include appendectomy, bowel resection, colostomy, general surgery, thoracic surgery, breast biopsies, lumpectomies, colonoscopies, endoscopies, and mastectomies. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in general surgery, and EGD and colonoscopy are imperative. Experienced providers are preferred, but new graduates, including 2024 residents, are encouraged to apply.

Opportunity Highlights - Well-Rounded General Surgery practice

• Recruiting due to retirements, departmental growth, and succession planning
• Practice in the Rocky Mountain foothills
• Well-rounded practice with bread-and-butter general surgery and a large GI practice mix (30% to 50% of procedures)
• Light call volume
• EGD and Colonoscopy skills are imperative
• General surgery mix includes appendectomies, colonoscopies, bowel resections, hernias, and some cancer care
