Hematology Oncology Physician in Colorado

Centura Health, the largest health system in Colorado, seeks a Hematology Oncology Physician to join a well-rounded, growing practice in beautiful Southwest Colorado. The incoming physician will have an extensive referral network in which 40% of referrals are screening colonoscopies for Medicare. Candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Hematology (preferred), or Oncology. Open to new graduates, including 2024 residents, but experienced providers are preferred.

• Extensive referral network from Centura primary care providers and independent providers in the region
• Enjoy a well-rounded hematology and oncology practice
• Excellent quality of life: Mon - Fri, 8 am to 4:30 pm schedule - 4 days clinical and 1-day administrative time
• Clinic averages 600 patient visits per month, and the practice averages approximately 860 infusion visits per month
• Comfortable clinic space with 6 exam rooms and 1 procedure room with plans for expansion
• In-office laboratory for immediate labs and an infusion suite with 10 chairs
• No academic affiliation, but providers can request students if desired
• Weekly tumor board with interdisciplinary team involvement

• New graduates can take advantage of loan forgiveness through the NHSC

Qualifications

• Candidates must be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Colorado and must be board-eligible or certified in Hematology Oncology
• Medical degree required
