Welcome to Oklahoma
Oklahoma is where the Midwest, South, and Southwest converge. That blending of cultures offers balance and many lovely surprises! With an exceptional art scene, eclectic districts with local flare, and an outdoor recreation renaissance centered around the city core, Oklahoma City's 1.4 million metropolitan residents are among the most satisfied in the nation.

Resident led tax initiatives have catalyzed new development, improved infrastructure, increased quality of life, and boosted business by $7 billion and counting. Low cost of living, short commutes, and a diversified economy beckon new residents, including Millennials, who rank it among the top three places to live.

Equidistant from both coasts and located at the crossroads of three major interstate highways, Oklahoma City ensures smooth travel and transportation to anywhere in the U.S. Just ninety minutes to Tulsa and three from Dallas, we are also within an easy drive to Wichita, Kansas City, and Little Rock. The Heartland Flyer Amtrak train provides twice-daily service to Fort Worth, while three airports host 150 flights from 21 non-stop destinations to supply commercial, corporate and leisure travel needs.

Exploring Possibilities

You may be considering many options professionally and personally. We want to help you navigate these opportunities as you establish your home, pursue your interests, grow professionally and flourish personally. Oklahoma City's strong job market provides exceptional opportunities for spouses or significant others, as well.

Forming a Foundation

Quality of life in the OKC Metro

Oklahoma City may be "the best kept secret in the country", despite being recognized as the "Most Livable Community" and "Best Run Metro" and holding a recurring position for one of the 100 Best communities for Young People by the America's Promise Alliance.

The second lowest-property tax and cost of living in the nation, contributes to our rank as one of the top two cities for first-time homebuyers. CNBC determined Oklahoma City is the city with the highest discretionary income, making us one of the best places to find the home of your dreams, while building a healthy practice and securing your financial future.

Transplants call Oklahoma City a "dream come true" and are delighted when proved wrong about any initial misconceptions. People are willing to pause and enjoy their families and the satisfying things in life. Depth of character and integrity of both individuals and supportive corporate employers leave lasting impressions.

With an average of 235 sunny days and freezing temps occurring less than a dozen times a year, not to mention plentiful parking, the sweet life in Oklahoma City is hard to beat.

Nationally Recognized Education

Whether you prefer public, charter, or private education, Oklahoma City offers some of the best schools in the country. Five high schools in the Oklahoma City school district received gold or silver badge awards from U.S. News & World Report. Fifty-five schools in the region have been recognized as National Blue Ribbon Schools.

Oklahoma City Public Schools resolve that students "graduate ready to fulfill their unique purpose in a healthy, vibrant community" and commit to core values of Equity, Relationships, Communication, Service, Student Success, and Collaboration. In total, 11 of the top 15 schools in Oklahoma are in the metro area, making excellence in learning more accessible than ever.
