Associate Medical Director Opportunity for Accountable Care

Gould Medical Group (GMG) is seeking an Associate Medical Director for Accountable Care. The GMG Associate Medical Director for Accountable Care has oversight responsibility of the Utilization Management, Ambulatory Care Coordination and Quality functions for GMG patients in conjunction with the affiliated Medical Foundation. This position works closely with GMG clinicians and Sutter Gould Medical Foundation (SGMF) operations to develop and implement new models of clinical care within SGMF care centers that will promote quality and affordability in a value based care model that meets employers , payers , and individual patients demands for high value, integrated, affordable care in alignment with Sutter Health strategic initiatives.

The FTE is currently structured as .50 FTE for the Associate Medical Director role, and then another flexible portion of FTE (up to .50) spent with clinical work in your specialty of training. This position requires a medical degree (MD or DO) and an active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in California.
