Allina Health s Mental Health and Addiction Clinical Service Line is seeking a Child Adolescent Psychiatrist for our primary care clinic in Bloomington, MN, which is conveniently located in the southwestern corner of the metro area, just minutes from the MSP International Airport.

Key Position Details (Practice Specifics)

As a child/adolescent psychiatrist within a primary care-based setting, you will use traditional and integrated models for optimal patient access and collaboration of care. Utilization of electronic consultation and virtual visits tools will help you improve patient access.

  • Full-time is considered 0.75-1.0 FTE; patient contact hours adjust accordingly
  • 90-minute for intakes
  • 30-minutes for follow-ups
  • Dedicated time for e-consults
  • Dedicated administrative time
  • Collaborate with a team of psychiatry providers


Principle Responsibilities

  • Consults with providers to assist with ongoing management of the behavioral health needs of their patients.
  • Engages the patient and family to develop treatment plans that address identified goals.
  • Develops and lead staff education in psychiatric issues.
  • May participate in on-call rotation.


Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine required
  • Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical
  • Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice required
