Division Head, Pulmonary Critical Care

NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore), the principal teaching affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, seeks a visionary leader to serve as the Division Head of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine serving Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park and Skokie Hospitals.    

The successful candidate will have at least 8-10 years of experience, be a master clinician with an emerging national presence and a proven track record of clinical and fiscal program leadership, teaching and faculty development. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and collaborative leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team of well-respected clinicians.  Qualified candidates will be proposed for an academic appointment at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.

The NorthShore Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is comprised of 22 board certified physicians who provide our patients with the highest quality of care across five hospitals and five outpatient offices.  The new Division Head will lead the strategic growth and delivery of patient-centered clinical programs, innovative research and continued academic expertise across an expanding health care system. Additional responsibilities include clinical patient care, teaching of medical students and house staff and protected academic time as appropriate.
