Ascension St Vincent is seeking (2) experienced OB Hospitalists to serve the Indianapolis location.

Details include:

12 hr shifts (168 annually) or 24 hrs shifts (84 annually)

Shifts include both weekdays and weekends, day and night shifts, holidays

No Call

OB/GYN coverage in a quaternary care hospital, level IV Perinatal Center with level I trauma verification and Level IV NICU. Complex, high risk, obstetrics and gynecology services. Academic center with OB/GYN residency program. Position will require staffing of residents and medical students Hospital strategic vision to reduce maternal morbidity and mortality with commitment to Indiana Women and Children, including currently constructing a dedicated Women s and Infants hospital scheduled to open in 2024. Hospital provides on-sight Maternal Fetal Medicine service.

Duties include daily rounds, coverage of OB L&D and triage, ED OB coverage, and consultations. Teaching experience is desirable. As an academic center, duties also include the direct supervision of both ObGyn and Family Medicine residents, and active participation in resident education and evaluation. St. Vincent also hosts learners from various medical schools and health programs; similar active participation in student education and evaluation is an expectation.
