Neurologist - Hospital Employed

Southeast Health, a 420 bed regional referral and Level II trauma center in Dothan, Alabama, is seeking a BC/BE general Neurologist to join our staff as a hospital employed physician. We have both Outpatient and Inpatient options available. Our Outpatient Neurologist will treat patients in a hospital-based, NeuroSciences outpatient clinic that is conveniently located on the hospital campus. Neurotesting is available in the clinic. Ideal candidate will possess subcertification in EMG/NCV or completion of Neurology residency with 6 months dedicated to training in EMG/NCV. Our Neuro Hospitalists offer General Neurology consults in an inpatient setting.

Practice Highlights:

• Outpatient schedule: M-F 8am - 5pm
• Inpatient schedule: 7 on/7 off 7am - 7pm
• Coverage at one facility, no travel required
• Work collaboratively with Southeast Health Neurosurgeons, Interventional Neuroradiologists, Radiation Oncologists, and PM&R Specialists to provide a multidisciplinary and coordinated approach to comprehensive patient care
• Neuromuscular Rehab & Balance Center is available
• Interventional Neuroradiology offered to treat a variety of neurological conditions
• Neurointerventionalist and neurohospitalist practice with neurosciences team
• Stroke teleneurology is provided
• 10-bed dedicated Neuro ICU
