Non-Tenure-Eligible Cardiology Clinician-Educator

 

The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant through full Professor. Responsibilities will be limited to supporting the inpatient cardiology service.

Qualified candidates must have a strong background in cardiovascular medicine, have completed an ACGME-accredited cardiology fellowship program, hold board certification or be board eligible in cardiology, and preferably have or are developing a record of peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate research productivity.

In addition to the skills as noted, the successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership, mentorship, and training as appropriate to medical students, residents, fellowship trainees, and/or graduate students. There is an expectation to lead and participate in quality improvement projects, along with interdisciplinary collaboration. Salary is commensurate with experience. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
