We are looking for a passionate Endocrinologist to help us move medicine forward!
Lucas Research is an independent and industry leading Clinical Research multisite network and Endocrinology practice located on the coast outside of Raleigh, NC. We are passionate about caring for our patients, but equally passionate about caring for our team - and that includes time for family and the beach. We have a team of over 60 professionals driving our unique approach to patient experience. Our multisite network consists of state of the art facilities located in Morehead City and New Bern. We are looking for a driven, energetic provider to lead our New Bern site.
Working with major pharmaceutical companies from all over the world is a dynamic aspect to our practice. The research side of our business is more than Diabetes and Endocrinology, we are currently conducting research in multiple therapeutic areas including Fatty liver/NASH, Orthopedics / Arthritis, Hemochromatosis, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Obesity, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Male hypogonadism, vaccines and healthy patient trials. We are also not dependent on medical insurance as 80% of our revenue is earned through clinical research. That fact allows us to expand and serve our community in ways that most medical practices can not.
Pay is competitive as are our benefits, including:
● Non-smoking environment
● BCBS health insurance for team members
● Employer Matched Health Savings Account (HSA) for medical expenses
● Paid holidays
● 21 paid personal days off each year
● Uniforms, as applicable
● Simple IRA employer match
● Subsidized corporate Sports Center Membership
We are changing the way medicine and clinical research are practiced. As an industry leader, our unique model continues to inspire our collaborators and partners across the industry. We’ve developed a unique patient care model that is focused on treating patients like VIP guests. It requires commitment and full collaboration from every level of our team. The result is a tight-knit, responsible team approach that our patients feel. It is why we have such intense loyalty from the community we serve.
If you have the heart of a servant, the brains to keep up with Jeannie (Dr. Lucas), and a hunger to be part of something changing the world, then we should talk.
