Show Low is a city in Navajo County, Arizona, that lies on the Mogollon Rim at an elevation of 6,345 feet. The city of nearly 12,000 is named for a poker game between two of Show Low's settlers who agreed to turn over the deed to their 100,000-acre shared ranch to the winner of the game. The city lies near extensive forest land and mountain backcountry, making it a popular recreational spot.
