SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis is a 470-bed full-service hospital and a Level II Trauma, Level I STEMI Center, and Comprehensive Stroke Center treating patients from across the St. Louis metropolitan area . DePaul Hospital is in Bridgeton, Missouri just 20 minutes northwest of downtown St. Louis.

Our multidisciplinary approach to care includes physician experts supported by a team of stroke coordinators, therapists and specially trained nurses and technicians from SSM Health hospitals across the region. Together, they provide the full continuum of care for people with neurological disorders. This opportunity includes:

• Large volume location with a robust Neurosurgery and PCP referral network
• Established, collegial practice of a six-neurosurgeon department
• Call is 1:3 on weeknight and weekend rotation at single hospital. No travel required
• High complexity of cases including head, neck and spine surgeries
• Thrombectomy capable stroke center with two neurointerventionalists on staff
• State of the art equipment including microscopes and stealth station
• Team based approach to care with top-trained neurosurgeons and mid-level providers
