Sleep Physician

Ascension St. Vincent Evansville is seeking a board certified or board eligible fellowship trained Sleep physician with responsibility for evaluating patients in clinic, ordering appropriate testing, interpreting said testing, and coordinating/managing appropriate follow up. Currently, there is a significant clinical volume with long wait times.

• Practice consists of two physicians and three advanced practice providers
• Treat sleep disorders including sleep disordered breathing, narcolepsy, abnormal nocturnal behaviors, restless legs and insomnia
• Lab is fully certified by the AASM
• Call is 1 week out of 6; phone availability only
• Extensive primary care referral network
• Program marketing

Facility includes eight sleep rooms and four clinic rooms; Located on the main hospital campus

The addition of a physician will allow for an improved, ideal system that provides for patient evaluation along the entire spectrum of care (i.e. through history before testing with explanation of testing benefits, directly interpreting and following up results of testing, and timely return visit to clinic to optimize patient compliance and experience of prescribed therapy).
