Newborn Hospitalist opportunity in Newport News, VA

Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for a BC/BE newborn-only Pediatric Hospitalist to join our neonatology practice at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA

• Full time and part time positions available
• Coverage of the newborn nursery with 2,500 annual births and an ALOS of 2.9 days
• Responsibilities include attending deliveries, providing consultations to families and referring physicians, and teaching medical students, pediatric and family practice residents and students who rotate through the unit.
• Inhouse coverage with flexible options of 8-10-hour schedule Monday - Friday with a neonatologist or NNP covering on nights and weekends
• No call from home, allowing for an ideal work/life balance
