Department of Urology Highlights

The successful candidate will join 3 pediatric urologists and an APP and benefit from collaboration with 29 adult urologists and 10 APPs, system-wide. The department also has a growing multidisciplinary myelodysplasia clinic which meets monthly and includes a general pediatrician, pediatric urology, pediatric orthopedics, pediatric neurosurgery, and social work support. Ochsner s state-of-the-art operating theaters include 3 Davinci robotic suites as well as a newly opened pediatric surgery OR and ASC.

Ochsner Hospital for Children is the only children s hospital in Louisiana or Mississippi ranked by US News and World Reports. Located on the campus of Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, our 113-bed children s hospital has a 46-bed pediatric unit, 54-bed Level III-C NICU, 26-bed Level-1PICU/CVICU and 4 bed EMU.
