UofL Health’s medical group, UofL Physicians is looking for a cardiac surgery intensivist to join our critical care team, currently comprised of five double-boarded critical care physicians and seven advanced practice providers in the UofL Jewish Hospital Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. This team works in conjunction with cardiothoracic surgery, interventional cardiology, and advanced heart failure to collaboratively care for pre/post-surgical patients, cardiogenic shock (Impella, ECMO), post-LVAD implants, heart and lung transplants, and other complex cardiac patients. Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong interest in medical education, and be able to lead a patient-focused team. Not a J1 opportunity.
