We are affiliated with large academic center and growing healthcare network which includes our medical School offering training in 10 residency and 14 fellowship programs with over 250 residents / fellows on campus, working alongside 400 providers in 75 areas of primary and specialty care. We collaborate with a 750-plus bed healthcare network includes two teaching hospitals and a Pediatric hospital committed to improving the health of over one-million children and adults, producing a well-established referral center for immediate clinical and inpatient production.

Responsibilities of the position are to provide evaluation and care for outpatients in ambulatory practice and for inpatients as assigned on a rotational basis. Position will participate in after-hours, on call coverage rotations, participate in clinical practice/teaching opportunities with medical students and residents, and initiate and complete clinical research with medical students and residents as part of their scholarly activities.

Interested candidates must have successfully completed an internal medicine residency and an infectious diseases fellowship. They must be Board certified in Internal Medicine and Board certified or Board eligible in Infectious Diseases. Candidate must be able to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Academic appointment commensurate with experience and training.
