Addiction Medicine Physician Position Details:

Hartford HealthCare is seeking an Internal and Addiction Medicine trained/experienced physician at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT, an 868-bed tertiary academic center and the flagship hospital for Hartford HealthCare. The chosen candidate will build and grow an inpatient Addiction Medicine Consultation Service at Hartford Hospital while working alongside an established advanced practitioner with experience in both Internal and Addiction Medicine. The chosen candidate will also help develop an on-site outpatient clinic for MAT.

• Role:
  • 100% Addiction Medicine, 75% Clinical, 25% Administrate with opportunity for growth
  • Oversight of internal medicine residents as part of an addiction medicine rotation
  • Program development and oversight, provider education
• Location(s):
  • Hartford Hospital, 80 Seymour Street Hartford, CT
  • Primary Care Clinic, 132 Jefferson Street, Hartford, CT
• Setting:
  • In- and Out-patient clinical addiction consults and medication management in a team-based setting
  • Join an experienced Addiction Advanced Practitioner already setting the program ground-work
• Schedule:
  • Full-time, Shift 1, weekdays
• Call:
  • No phone call

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Strong Addiction Medicine Interest and/or Experience
• Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)

Preferred:

• Fellowship trained and BC/BE in Addiction Medicine
