Gastroenterologist Opportunity in Buffalo, NY

The Buffalo, NY Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting full or part-time Gastroenterologists. Provide patient care in our GI clinics, inpatient & outpatient GI consults, and inpatient & outpatient GI endoscopies. Perform both emergent and elective, diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopies and upper GI endoscopies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a wide range of endoscopic procedures that include upper and lower GI tract, endoscopic ultrasound, colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy. Advanced endoscopy training is desired but not required. Must be eligible for a faculty appointment at our academic affiliate, the State University of New York at Buffalo. Train med students, residents and fellows through bedside rounds, didactic sessions & Grand Round presentations. We have state-of-the-art equipment and procedural suites. Perfect mix of academics, clinical care, teaching & research.

Reasonable on-call! Manageable patient volume!
