Position Information:

The VA Loma Linda Health Care System (VALLHS) and Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center, Loma Linda CA, is recruiting a Board Certified (BC) / Board Eligible (BE) Hematologist/Oncologist, to join our Multi-Disciplinary Team in providing comprehensive care in our state of the art Cancer Center, which includes 14+ chair infusion center, brand new chemo pharmacy, medical oncology, surgical oncology, research, as well as cancer center operations, supported by palliative care capability and teaching of rotating Hematology/Oncology Fellows. Preference will be given to candidates who possess Academic Hematology/Oncology teaching and research experience. VALLHS is academic affiliated with Loma Linda University School of Medicine, offering Academic Appointment consideration and opportunity to teach and mentor Fellows, Residents and Medical Students. Work Schedule/Tour of Duty: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM. Compressed Schedule may be considered. No call, evenings or weekend coverage expected.

Benefits and Features:

  • Expected realistic annual salary range from $300,000 to $330,000 based on physician s qualifications and be eligible for up to $15,000 annual performance bonus. Position has been approved for to consider Recruitment/Relocation Incentive and Education Debt Reduction Program up to $200,000 school loan repayment for well-qualified candidate
