Mid-Columbia Medical Center (MCMC) is seeking to add an obstetrician/gynecologist for the Columbia River Women's Center in The Dalles, Oregon.  This is a great opportunity to join a community-focused health system that is dedicated to providing exceptional clinical care in an environment that promotes healing, health and wellness.  

Join a well-established partnership consisting of three obstetricians/gynecologists and a certified nurse midwife.  We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist to work 3 clinic days, 1 OR, 1 admin day a week and call is 1:4. Our group uses an on-site obstetrical ultrasound technologist certified in NT ultrasounds and additionally, we have a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist who is available on-site on a regular basis.  

CRWC is located steps away from the hospital and provides full spectrum women's health services.  MCMC is a not-for-profit 49-bed Level III trauma center that has been recognized internationally as one of the leading innovators in person-centered care.  The hospital has a 7-bed labor & delivery unit with a Level I nursery, and 24/7 access to the PANDA Team in Portland for emergency transport and consultation.  

Located 85 miles east of Portland in the majestic Columbia River Gorge, The Dalles features old-growth forests, rushing waterfalls, and year-round access to outdoor recreation, including downhill and cross-country skiing, world-class water sports, and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails.  The area boasts award-winning wineries, affordable housing, and, most importantly warm, friendly people.  Founded in 1901, MCMC is a nationally recognized, nonprofit health system dedicated to serving residents of The Dalles and its surrounding communities.  MCMC has been named one of Oregon's top workplaces and MCMC believes that each employee makes a difference in the lives of every patient. 

Job description:

  • Call is 1:4
  • 3 clinic days, 1 OR day and 1 admin day a week



  • Graduate of four-year U.S. allopathic or osteopathic medical school or equivalent


  • Board eligible or board certified in obstetrics and gynecology
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state(s) of practice
