Medical Director, Pediatric Rheumatology

We’re seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Rheumatologist with passion and vision to serve as the Medical Director of Pediatric Rheumatology joining the growing team at Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, Nevada’s only childhood cancer treatment center and facility for pediatric catastrophic diseases. The Foundation is advancing cures and prevention of childhood diseases through clinical excellence, research, and innovation. Ranked fourth in the 2021 Best Nonprofits to Work For, Cure 4 The Kids is the only Nevada organization to make the national list this year and moved up 19 places since 2019. In addition, Cure 4 The Kids Foundation has been included by The NonProfitTimes in 2019, 2021 and 2022.

Cure 4 The Kids is also seeking a second Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Rheumatologist devoted to serving children living with a variety of rheumatological conditions.

These full-time positions require clinical experience in Pediatric Rheumatology and experience in patient-oriented research. The successful candidates will be physicians who enjoy the opportunities that come with being part of a growing program and thrive in an environment that focuses on continuous quality improvement.

The positions offer a generous benefits package, including 100% of physician and family premiums for medical, dental and vision as well as a 403B with 3% match, long-term disability, travel insurance and life insurance, onsite yoga, and pet insurance. Academic appointments will have a rank commensurate with experience.

About Cure 4 The Kids Foundation

Founded in Las Vegas in 2007, Cure 4 The Kids Foundation has treated more than 50,000 children with life-threatening conditions including cancer, blood disorders, rheumatological conditions, genetic conditions and rare diseases.

The Foundation set out to create a new kind of healthcare facility; one that blended the best of what corporate healthcare, education and research has to offer with the generosity, thoughtfulness, and spirit of charity. This hybrid model allows the ability to function like a traditional professional healthcare entity in terms of clinical outcomes yet allows the Foundation to be deeply human in interactions with patients and their families. The focus is on being a nationally recognized center of excellence with a regional focus that equips kids and their families to fight diseases, where no kid gets turned away due to a lack of medical insurance or ability to pay. The Cure 4 The Kids Foundation's Charity Care Plan ensures all patients receive the treatment that can save their life.

Cure 4 The Kids Foundation is also ranked #2623 of the fastest growing companies in America by Inc. 5000 and is proud to have won Best Cancer Treatment Center and Best Charity Event for the past two years and recognized four times by Best of Las Vegas.
