Responsibilities

Schedule:

80% outpatient work with our Primary Care Department serving as a Medical Provider

10% Hybrid work work withour IDES Department

Responsibilities

Examine, diagnose, prevent and treat medical, surgical, obstetric, gynecological, and orthopedic care patients.
Provide first contact, continuous, comprehensive primary care for infants, children, youth, and adults.
Complete required records pertaining to all medical services provided in accordance with specified procedures and regulations.

Coordinate various evaluations (i.e. fitness for duty , Medical Evaluation Boards, Medical Evaluation Board consultation and Temporary Disability Retired List (TDRL) evaluations).

Review medical records to determine and combine permanent profiles appropriate for disability processing.

Order and evaluate the full range of radiology and laboratory tests, make diagnosis and prescribe appropriate treatment.

Qualifications

Who May Apply:

US Citizens

Degree: Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from a school in the United States or Canada. Evidence of equivalency to accredited schools in the United States is demonstrated by permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.

Licensure: Applicants must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.

Graduate Training: Applicants must have successfully completed the required accredited residency training in the specialty of the position to be filled (Family Practice) or (Internal Medicine).
