As an interventional cardiologist at UPMC Altoona, you will work with a world-class heart program to deliver the kind of comprehensive, high-end care that patients travel for. Our team of experts is seeking a board certified/board eligible interventional cardiologist with experience in cardiac catheterization diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
ARHS Blair Medical Associates Cardiology practice includes one interventional cardiologist, one non-invasive cardiologist, two electrophysiologists, one heart failure specialist, one vascular surgeon, four PAs and two CRNPs. We have offices in four locations. UPMC s Heart & Vascular Institute provides additional vascular, cardiac and thoracic surgeons. The hospital has two EP/cath labs which support Watchman and TAVR procedures. The primary outpatient and pacemaker clinic is in a medical mall,1-1/2 miles from the hospital, which also houses two medical labs, imaging, cardio-pulmonary rehab, PT/OT, sleep lab, and a number of primary and specialty physician offices.
This opportunity is primarily an outpatient practice with inpatient consults and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 am 5 pm. Call schedule is 1:3. Physician will work primarily in Altoona.
