General Orthopedic Surgeon

Job Description:

• Tidelands Health is recruiting a general orthopedic surgeon for our health-system employed practices located in Murrells Inlet, Myrtle Beach and Georgetown, South Carolina.
• The Georgetown location has two full-time orthopedic surgeons and one physician assistant. And the other locations have a total of eight surgeons and six APPs doing general, totals, foot/ankle and spine surgery. The need is for a generalist to work in one home practice and a second satellite.
• The hospital in Murrells Inlet has eight ORs and the hospital in Georgetown has four ORs. Total inpatient bed count is 340 that includes med/surg, ICU, ortho and rehab.
• This is a full-service orthopedic practice with shared call, solid support staff and collegial providers.
• Tidelands Health is a non-profit community health system serving a coastal population of over 440,000 and growing. There are over 140 employed physicians and 40 APPs employed by Tidelands Health in all major specialties with 60+ outpatient clinics throughout the region.
