The Department of Otolaryngology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA is seeking a Head and Neck Oncologic Surgeon to join our team at both Rhode Island Hospital, our Rhode Island based partner, as well as time at Tufts Medical Center. Successful candidates will be interested in full time opportunities, BC/BE, and have completed advanced fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgery. The position will include dual academic appointments in at the Tufts University School of Medicine and the Brown University School of Medicine. Position will be based approximately 60% at Rhode Island Hospital and 40% at Tufts Medical Center.

This position is a great opportunity for the entrepreneurial candidate who enjoys being in the heart of Academics with some community-based collaboration. Travel would be required at most 1- 2 days per week to the main campus in Boston. The practice provides exposure to the full range of ablative and reconstructive head and neck surgery, with the opportunity for managing Zenker's diverticula, trauma, and benign salivary disease, including sialoendoscopy.

The Department of Otolaryngology at Tufts has a competitive 10 person Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery residency and acts as the principal teaching hospital of the Tufts University School of Medicine. In addition to their clinical practice, applicants will be expected to participate in the education of our residents and medical students with both Brown and Tufts. Academic appointment will be commensurate with experience.

Who You Are:

• Board Certified in Otolaryngology
• Able to obtain a Massachusetts & Rhode Island medical license
• Passionate and interested in building a busy clinical practice with an interest in teaching.
