The Schneider Regional Medical Center (SRMC) is seeking a Chief Medical Officer to join our dynamic senior leadership team. This position provides clinical direction to the health management and credentialing divisions as well as medical oversight to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare services. The Chief Medical Officer is also responsible for physician recruitment, overseeing the credentialing and privileges of all staff physicians.  The ideal candidate will hold a Doctorate in Medicine and possess progressive leadership experience within an acute care setting, has a proven record for developing personnel as well as strategic planning and budgeting.  Board Certification and valid Virgin Islands license are required. 

Schneider Regional Medical Center is the umbrella entity for three U.S. Virgin Islands' facilities, these entities include: Roy Lester Schneider Hospital, Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute, both located on St. Thomas and Myrah Keating Smith Community Health Center, located on St. John.  We are the healthcare provider of choice to the residents of the US Virgin Islands and the Caribbean.
