Physicians at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health provide a coordinated and holistic approach to care through our patient centered medical home model. We believe that care must incorporate all needs of the patient. This includes medically necessary before and after care services, as well as access to socio-economic resources in the community, to ensure their wellbeing as the ultimate path to recovery. Our belief in this type of approach allows our physicians the opportunity to participate in clinical and organizational improvement huddles, committees and other initiatives, providing opportunities to innovate within their own practices as well as the overarching health system.

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their outpatient practice located in Lancaster, PA. Our group consists of nine providers, as well as counselors, therapist, nurses and other health-care professionals. The group works collaboratively to provide the highest quality patient care and offer evidence-based interventions to effectively treat behavioral health disorders and improve the quality of life for patients and their families. The behavioral health counselors are located throughout the health system at the primary care practices with some specialty care practices to provide services while seeing their family or specialty provider. Psychiatrists in Lancaster General Health System have easy access to acute inpatient care when necessary with our join partnership and collaboration with the Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital and partner with Franklin and Marshall College to provide student-counseling services at the college s wellness center. Our providers work closely with other Penn Medicine Lancaster General Physicians in the care of hospitalized patients at our Lancaster General Hospital, emergency department and Women & Babies Hospital by providing a behavioral health intervention team accessible 24/7.

Have the opportunity to work with a busy forward thinking group to provide care for patients ranging three years of age and up during a Monday through Friday schedule with minimal demand after hour s call that is shared among the group and compensated for by a monthly day off.

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic)
  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatrist residency
  • Completion of a Child and Adolescent specialty training
  • Possess or able to obtain an unrestricted PA Medical License
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
