Description

We have a novel clinical model which allows for disease site-based management through multi. We combined our specialists into multispecialty disease-based clinics with concierge level care and world class supportive services. Our breast cancer patients have a robust supportive care program to optimize their cancer care journey from screening to survivorship.

The cancer institute serves as a tertiary care referral center.

The clinical model involves working in multi-specialty tumor site teams out of our Breast oncology clinic, and predominantly outpatient practice with limited breast surgery only calls at a single tertiary hospital. No General surgery call or general surgery requirements. An excellent blend of compensation, sub-specialization work, and lifestyle. Our cancer institute is looking for breast surgeons who are focused on high quality subspecialized patient care, looking to establish their long-term career, and can become regional experts in clinical care. Access to state-of-the-art equipment including advanced imaging image guided biopsy, & operating rooms equipped with novel breast surgery equipment are at your fingertips.

All breast cancer patients are reviewed at our multidisciplinary Tumor Board and supported by a robust navigation and supportive care infrastructure. Your practice would be 100% breast surgery supported by a dedicated breast cancer team in a multidisciplinary clinic at our tertiary cancer institute. The breast cancer program is supported by a strong multidisciplinary team that includes breast surgeons, specialized breast medical oncologist, breast imaging radiologist, plastic surgeons, a breast high risk clinic, breast navigation program, palliative oncology program, and more

Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute is a COC accredited comprehensive community cancer center with multiple subspecialty accreditations. Our Breast cancer division is NAPBC accredited. Connections to industry for trials and opportunities for cooperative and investigator-initiated research are available and encouraged if there is an interest. We have had approximately 8% of patients on trial. Opportunities for research, teaching with the GME surgery residency program. Opportunities for leadership & career growth.
