Physician-Medical Director-Ortho ASC

SSM Health Dean Medical Group is searching for a talented and experienced orthopedic surgeon to join our organization as an Ambulatory Surgical Center Medical Director. All MSK sub specialties will be considered. This role is 20% administrative and 80% clinical, combining an impactful and highly visible leadership function with a condensed clinical practice schedule. We have a new ortho ASC in development. Looking for a strategic clinical and operational partnership in driving ambulatory orthopedic surgeries within the SSM WI integrated delivery network inclusive of the SSM Health Dean Health Plan.

MSK Clinical Program Leader

Lucrative Sign-On Bonus

Based in Madison, WI. Might require one day a week clinic at a regional site.

Experienced physician leader

Familiarity with Epic EMR

Requirements:

MD or DO

Active Unrestricted WI Medical License (or ability to obtain one)

BC in a MSK sub Specialty; reconstructive, foot and ankle, joint hip/knee or hand preferred

7+ years of experience as a practicing physician

2+ years of experience as a physician leader

Active Unrestricted DEA

Collaborating with Musculoskeletal Physicians and administrative leaders in other ministries in Wisconsin as well as other states to develop regional and system MSK strategy, develop MSK specific KPIS (Key Performance Indicators) as well as a MSK performance dashboard

Leading and creating a learning culture with SSM WI MSK Clinicians.

Providing strategic direction, collaborating with physicians and staff in Wisconsin as well as the SSM system MSK clinical program.

Collaborating with Hospital VPMA's on related Quality Metrics and Improvement initiative in addition Clinical Program Medical Directors in related Value Based Work Streams.

Leading patient related outcome initiatives and patient experience.
