Hematology Oncology in Maine
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: M-F schedule. Call is 1:3 or 1:4 weekends with 1 weekly shift. Pay Rate: $355000.00 - 561000.00

Central Maine Healthcare, an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people, is seeking a general hematology/oncology staff physician. A focus on breast would be beneficial as its breast program is PVC accredited. A Section Chief role is also available, and applicants with appropriate experience will be considered. Candidates must be board-certified in oncology and/or hematology. J1 and H1 visa candidates are encouraged to apply.

  • Attend specialized tumor boards, including lung, thoracic, GU, head and neck, and breast
  • The Surgical/Cancer Institute is newly built and features 52,000 square feet of space housing radiation oncology, hematology/oncology, an onsite pharmacy, and an onsite lab

  • Strong referral base consists of roughly 100 primary care providers

Required Qualifications
•Board certified in oncology and/or hematology.
•Holds an active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Maine or the ability to become licensed to practice medicine in the state of Maine
•Able to support J1 and H1 visa candidates
