Berkshire Family Practice Associates is excited to announce that we are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our team at our brand-new office located in North Adams! Through our main office, located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Berkshire Family Practice has been providing patient-centered care for families in the Berkshires for over 40 years. Our North Adams satellite office opened its doors in 2020. It is located in the former North Adams Hospital in a beautifully renovated space. The bright space features large windows, mountain views from nearly all of our 12 exam rooms, and brand-new equipment. Our North Adams primary care team is comprised of one physician and one nurse practitioner. Our location in the former hospital allows our patients easy access to on-campus lab, imaging, wound care, procedure, and emergency services.

Currently, our office operates with a team-based hybrid-care model that frees physicians from the typical load of documentation. The model of care that you choose to practice is flexible.

North Adams, Massachusetts smallest city, is nestled in the picturesque Northern Berkshires. Surrounded by beautiful mountain views, North Adams offers small town New England charm alongside all of the arts, culture, and dining opportunities of a larger city. Located along the Appalachian trail, the area offers countless opportunities for outdoor recreation like hiking, biking, skiing, kayaking, farmers markets, and street festivals. Home to the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Arts and numerous other museums, galleries, and studios, North Adams has a vibrant art and culture scene. Berkshire Family Practice Associates is affiliated with Berkshire Health Systems. Berkshire Health Systems provides comprehensive care for the people of Berkshire County through inpatient, primary, specialty, emergency, visiting nurse, hospice, and long-term care services. As an affiliate, we are able to have the support of a large health care organization, but also manage ourselves in a way that emphasizes physician autonomy.
