The Division of Emergency Medicine at Children’s Mercy – Kansas City is seeking physicians who are board certified/eligible in pediatric emergency medicine (PEM).  We currently offer:

  • Average of 3.5 eight-hour shifts per week. Double coverage at night, in addition to nurse practitioner and pediatrician coverage. Strong support from transport team, nurse practitioners, child life specialist, social workers, chaplains, pharmacists, respiratory therapy. All private exam and trauma rooms, bedside US and in-suite radiology/CT with 24-hour pediatric radiology coverage. One of the oldest, most accomplished and competitive PEM fellowship programs in the country. Enriching opportunities to provide education to variety of fellows, residents and medical students.
