The Department of Head and Neck Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA currently seeks applicants for a Surgeon - Scientist who specializes in Neurotology.


Qualified candidates must hold an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree or equivalent, be board certified/eligible in Otolaryngology, and have or be eligible for a California medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited fellowship training in Neurotology, and be certified or be eligible for certification in Neurotology by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Demonstrated excellence in research, preferably with a track record of extramural funding, is preferred.

Candidates should be fully engaged in providing state-of-the-art, patient-centered care. We seek an accomplished physician-scientist with interest in developing an academic Neurotology practice focused on disorders relevant to the temporal bone, lateral skull base, and haring disorders. Candidates should be enthusiastic about engaging in academically productive scientific inquiry, educating medical students, residents, and fellows, serving the university community, and augmenting one of the nation's leading departments. Academic appointment level will be commensurate with experience. The applicant may also be expected to perform clinical duties at one of our satellite facilities.
