NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore), is seeking an exceptional Cardiac Electrophysiologist to serve as the Director for NorthShore s growing Cardiovascular Institute s Ventricular Arrhythmia Program.

What you will do:

  • Lead physician for the NorthShore system-wide Ventricular Arrhythmia Program, including both North Region (Evanston, Highland Park, Glenbrook, Skokie, Swedish & Northwest Community Hospitals) and South Region (Edwards Hospital, Elmhurst Hospital).
  • Coordinate all inpatient and outpatient care for ventricular arrhythmias with responsibilities for divisional and staff education, quality outcomes, and promotion of unified standards across the system
  • Office location as well as procedure time at NorthShore North Region Hospitals as well as Swedish Hospital
  • Collaborate with other key programs such as Advanced Heart Failure, Infiltrative Cardiomyopathy, Structural and Interventional Cardiology, and CV surgery

What you will need:

  • Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
  • Established track record of academic achievements
  • Experience in program development, administration and leadership
  • Track record of cardiac electrophysiology research is desirable with protected time available.

In addition to CV and vascular surgery, the NorthShore Cardiovascular Institute includes an integrated group of 45 board-certified cardiologists covering all aspects of clinical cardiology in eight clinic locations (with planned expansion to 11), throughout the geographically desirable north suburbs of Chicago. NorthShore has growing programs in structural heart disease, electrophysiology, cardio-oncology, obesity management, women s health, heart failure/mechanical support, interventional cardiology and cardiovascular surgery. The Cardiovascular Institute supports a vigorous and robust research program.
