Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Group has an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Surgical Oncologist to join the Physician's Group and work at Nazareth Hospital, a community teaching hospital, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The selected candidate must be a dynamic Surgical Oncologist and act as a leader to help build a program with a concentration in breast care. The selected surgeon will work collaboratively with other employed surgeons in the group and independent providers such as our Hematology/Oncology Surgeons. The group is very experienced in treating all types of cancer, including blood cancer, breast cancer, colorectal and gastrointestinal cancers, head and neck cancer, lung cancer, skin cancer, thyroid cancer and urologic cancer.

Responsibilities include evaluating and managing patient to help prevent, detect and treat exclusively benign and malignant breast diseases. The surgeon will conduct surgical and non-operative procedures, with access to the most advanced technology including XI robot available. This position will allow a physician to help build an established program.

Call coverage includes practice call with few emergency calls. GS support is included with the option to join their call coverage.

Requirements include Fellowship training in Surgical Oncology, Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery, and an unrestricted active Pennsylvania License.

Many of our cancer programs are accredited by the Commission on Cancer, and breast programs are accredited by the NAPBC, as well as being designated as Breast Cancer Imaging Centers of Excellence. In addition to traditional modality radiology accreditations by the American College of Radiology several of our hospitals are designated Lung Cancer Screening Centers of Excellence.
